If you haven't been to the DDB's Lee Jofa showroom recently, we suggest you get there pronto. The Lilly Pulitzer room installation is as close to a Lilly outfit translated into a room as we might ever see.

The immediately recognizable prints and patterns that Lilly lovers have adored for decades are now available in a variety of fabrics and trimmings suited for upholstery, curtains, bedding, pillows and accessories. Lilly Lovers can now 'dress' their homes from ceiling to floor in bright, beautiful prints and patterns. The “Lilly” signature is included into the design of each pattern, which is the hallmark of an authentic Lilly Pulitzer fabric.

About 50 years ago, a young, sassy socialite named Lilly Pulitzer opened a juice stand in Palm Beach. She quickly realized she needed a uniform that would hide the orange, lemon, lime and grapefruit stains that were making a mess of her clothes. Lilly had her dressmaker whipped up a brightly patterned shift dress to camouflage the stains. While her customers liked her juice, they loved her dresses and they quickly began outselling the juice. As the dresses sold, the line expanded, and Lilly Pulitzer became a brand and eventually a lifestyle.
