Dining in Decadence at Dawnridge (Part 1 of 2)

GoDesignGo recently had the privilege of dining in arguably one of the most decadent homes in Beverly Hills: Hutton Wilkinson’s Dawnridge estate, former home of Tony Duquette.

The evening was hosted by Robin Gordon, Vice President of Marketing & Advertising at Duralee Fabrics in honor of Philip Gorrivan's newest collection with Duralee and Highland Court.

An intimate group of designers, editors and artists sipped cocktails and nibbled hors d'oeuvres while meandering through the rooms and gardens, experiencing first-hand why “more is more.” Dinner was served in the amber-colored dining room atop tablecloths made from Philip Gorrivan's newest fabrics.

"What a fun evening in that fabulous house," said Philip. "I was so flattered to be able to integrate my new fabric into the rooms and décor. I used my ikat, Maharani tablecloths in plum for the dining tables and I think it really, really worked. Hutton told me after the evening that it was one of the best dinner parties that he and Ruth had hosted at Dawnridge in years!"

Check out Philip’s new collection at Duralee Fabrics and Highland Court showrooms, and in the meantime, stay posted to GoDesignGo for more about the evening of elegance at the Dawnridge Residence.
