Friday Favorites: A Weekly Roundup of New Products

The latest edition of Marvic Crewels, Sunburst, captures a naive Tree of Life design with highly stylized florals, vines and leaves. Inspired by a Kashimiri decorative brass plate, Sunburst is a thoroughly fresh and modern approach to the centuries old technique of crewel working. Find Sunburst and Marvic Textiles full range of decorative fabrics at the Zimmer & Rohde Showroom.

The Dublin Console was designed by Luke Wong, the current Design Director for Niedermaier. The Dublin features a floating mirror and elegant pull out drawers.

Nella Vetrina introduces the Morgana chair and selected designs upholstered in eel skin, part of their new Visionnaire Collection. Smooth to touch with a glossy sheen, eel skin is a stylish choice available for Visionnaire chairs, credenzas, desks and beds. A choice of red, black, brown, blue and cream.

Nella Vetrina’s Visionnaire is 20/20

Designed by Italian designer Samuele Mazza and produced by Ipe Cavalli, Nella Vetrina’s new Visionnaire Collection is confident and contemporary, while maintaining classic Baroque characteristics. The sculptural curves, intricate details, and refined finishes support Nella Vetrina’s interpretation of new Italian luxury.

Materials include marble, wood, smoked glass, brass, chrome, aluminum and stainless steel, and colors range from sparkling white to deep blacks, reds, and blues.

We took a seat on the Morgana chair with Nella Vetrina's concept creator, Steve Brister and his partner Jason Cambell, who doubles as an interior designer.

"In the past year, we decided that we wanted to expand our customer base by expanding our style and look to include more modern collections," Steve said. "Our look is a unique and new interpretation of modern Italian design.” Not unlike the new collection, Nella Vetrina defines its aesthetic as classic meets modern.

Steve and Jason showed us a few new fun and glamourous pieces such as the Zantas, wall sconce, which has a diamond-cut shiny aluminium stand with a silk lampshade.

”This is what's so great about Visionnaire.  It's an up-to-date build inspired by a modern feel, but it's still got something very classic about it," said Jason.
