Lighting it up at Vaughan

Our British fever hasn't waned in just one week - nor has our love of the Olympics. This afternoon, we present the latest from Vaughan. The company, founded by Michael and Lucy Vaughan, will celebrate its 30th anniversary next year. The NYC showrooms dates from 1996. The Vaughans put the knowledge they gleaned as antiques dealers to use filling the demand from interior designers for well-crafted, luxury lighting with classic flavor. They also expanded into furniture and most recently, a range of textiles.

The Zurich lantern is pictured above.
In keeping up with the times, Vaughan's extensive collection of picture lights has recently welcomed LED additions, including this version. It's available in two sizes and either a nickel or gilt finish:

The Savona Hooded floor lamp, with its diminutive proportions, is available in both nickel and brass. And feels just right for curling up in a club chair with a good book and perhaps a whiskey! It will be arriving on our shores the first week in September, so here's a sneak peak:

Stop by and see heaps of table, floor, pendant and sconces at the DDB (Suite 1511) and at Nessen Showroom at the DCOTA (Suite B260).
