Guest Blogger: Harry Daniell Retells What Women & Men Want at Moura Starr (Part 1 of 2)

Harry Daniell, of residential and commercial design firm Harry Daniell Design attended many of the fabulous events during the DDB's Fall Market. Here, he gives us a recap of the lecture panel A Contemporary Dilemma: What Men and Women Want at the Moura Starr showroom with interior design pros Campion Platt and Eric Cohler.

By Harry Daniell

As one magazine editor noted, she saw me running all over the Design and Decoration Building (DDB) during Fall Market Week. It was hard to miss me, as I was in a tuxedo all afternoon on Wednesday, in preparation for the Stars of Design Awardsdinner hosted by Charles S. Cohen!

Having enjoyed many of the presentations I attended at Fall Market, the program I enjoyed the most was hosted at Moura Starr, with presentations by Campion Platt and Eric Cohler. The two interior design pros shared their views on topics of gender preferences in the interior design world, how they design for the sexes, how they contemporize traditional spaces and what it's like working in an era of constraints.

Stay tuned for more from Harry Daniell tomorrow.
