Fall Market Buzz: DCH Fall Market Afternoon Programs Part 1

Yesterday, we shared with you some highlights for the DCH's Fall Market afternoon schedule. Now we're giving you the scoop on a few things you shouldn't miss in the afternoon.

Hokanson (Suite 190) presents The Evolution of Luxury, a story of its history and a lesson on its work with legendary designers who have created Hokanson masterpieces, such as the ruff in the White House Oval Office. Since the term “area rug” was coined in 1952, Hokanson has been at the forefront of designing and manufacturing custom rugs using exotic materials such as silk, viscose and the finest semi-worsted wools. Refreshments and sweets will be served, with starting times at 12:30, 1:00 and 1:30 p.m.

Lee Jofa (Suite 150) hosts Classic with a Twist with interior designer Suzzanne Kasler from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Suzzanne is known for her classically inspired rooms, neutral palettes with pops of color, and her European style and sensibility. She is always looking for new directions and unique twists that ultimately bring a fresh approach to traditional design. Suzanne will share some of her personal design mantras, images from her most recent projects and the inspiration behind her latest collection, a fabric line for Lee Jofa. Following her presentation, there will be a book signing for Suzanne’s Inspired Interiors. Refreshments will be served. RSVP required at hbrsvp@hearst.com.
