In the News: Fortuny Pour L'OBJET Debut Collection of Tableware & Decorative Accents (Part 2)

Fortuny and L'OBJET were a match made from the start as creative synergy sparked from the first meeting between L'OBJET founder Elad Yifrach and Fortuny owners Mickey and Maury Riad. Inspired by the magic of Fortuny, Elad knew they shared the same approach and dedication to quality and artistry.

The two companies joined forces in creating a collection of fine tableware, home accents and gifts which recently in New York City, and will soon introduce the collection at Fortuny's DDB showroom.

"We are really excited to see our fabrics and patterns expressed in a different medium, inspiring a new collection of timeless pieces," said Mickey. "In preserving the tradition of the Fortuny company and our founder’s innovative approach to the creative process, we welcome new directions that also demonstrate Fortuny’s contemporary appeal. Seeing the Fortuny patterns take on a new life through this collaboration with L'OBJET is such a pleasure."

Fortuny’s old world techniques mixed with L'OBJET’s modern sensibility are the spirit behind the collection. References to Fortuny’s famed fashion history, a myriad of specially sourced materials, and intricate metal work signature to L'OBJET are just some of the details that make the line so captivating. Each distinctive objet functions just as beautifully alone, as it does paired with the group.
