Guest Blogger: Harry Daniell Loves Hellman Chang (Part 1 of 2)

Last week, Harry Daniell, of Harry Daniell Design, took us through the A. Rudin [http://www.arudin.com/] showroom to share his design expertise on new and old pieces that compliment one another in a space. Harry is back this week to share more on A. Rudin and its vendor, Hellman Chang.

By Harry Daniell

There’s no wonder why Hellman Chang received Interior Design magazine’s Best of Year Product (2006) and Merit (2007) Design Award in years past. Our firm, Harry Daniell Design, considers Hellman Chang a definite 'go-to' resource for many of our projects.

So, when Hellman Chang launched the Crawford desk at A. Rudin, I couldn't resist bringing it to life by sharing it with GoDesignGo. Brooklyn-based designers and entrepreneurs Eric Chang and Daniel Hellman truly nailed the design and features of this walnut-finished desk by the time they were finished with it. True to form for all pieces manufactured by Hellman Chang, the desk is available in two sizes, multiple finishes and optional add-ons.

With sheer elegance, the stylishly enforced angles are met with the bevels on the desk’s legs. The detail in the joining of the top and side legs create a light and airy feeling to a desk that, given its size, could feel heavy if designed any differently.

Stay tuned tomorrow for more on Hellman Chang with Harry Daniell.
