Event Spotlight: Aloft & Afloat, Designing the Interiors of Jets & Yachts

If designing the interiors for the mansions of the sea gets your boat sailing, the PDC's Aloft & Afloat panel discussion is something you shouldn't miss. Sponsored be The Luxury Marketing Council, this discussion covers the idiosyncrasies of working with airborne and nautical palettes—not to mention working with the people who own them.

There are always little challenges that pop up when attempting to apply traditional design and modern practices to any project. But when your project is designed to fly or float, there are a whole host of unique issues that float to the surface.

Besides strict guidelines and regulations, the physical elements that are inherent to yachts and jets make for interesting projects and even more interesting stories. Couple those challenges with the task of working with ultra-high net worth individuals, and you have one unique panel discussion.

The esteemed panel includes Carol Pardue, Principal Managing Designer of Transcending Design; Hal Swanson, Co-founder of Swanson-Ollis Interiors; and Pierre Louis-Moroni, CEO of Syncro Aircraft Interiors.

The event takes place July 28 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the PDC's Blue Conference Center in Suite B259.
