Guest Blogger: Michael H. Lurie of Sonia's Place Shares (I of II)

Michael H. Lurie had an eager audience when he told us about the old and the new in the DDB showroom. Co-owner of Sonia's Place, Michael shared with us the difficulties of the last two years in the industry and shared with us some of the things that helped them get through the turbulence.

The last two years have been tough on us all in the interior design industry, but we at Sonia’s Place have spent the extra time that came with those years scouring the marketplace worldwide for new and unusual talent creating designs, textures and materials. We have found incredible designs and product to add to our already extensive wallcovering and fabric assortments.

Sonia's Place has been fortunate to have had the opportunity to find and help develop creative, new designs, materials and resources, some of which have never before been exposed to the design and architectural fields in such abundance. We've surprised ourselves in doing so, as our success exceeded what we had anticipated!

Recently, we have added great depth to the residential contract and commercial assortments, enabling one to view everything from our commodity offerings through designer level wallcovering in one fell swoop. All of this is in keeping with the ever-evolving and very eclectic library of designer fabrics and wallcoverings at Sonia’s Place.

Stay tuned to GoDesignGo to hear more from Michael on the many new things happening at Sonia's Place. With so much new product, you may need a few visits to tackle it all.
