Harry Daniell, of residential and commercial design firm Harry Daniell Design, recently debuted the inaugural post of his new All Things Design blog, in conjunction with a launch party at the Poggenpohl showroom in New York City. We happen to love the Poggenpohl showrooms at the PDC and DCOTA, so we couldn't wait to hear what Harry had to say.

When it comes to hosting and catering a launch party, a kitchen brand like Poggenpohl certainly knows how to host. The launch party, held at the Manhattan-based Poggenpohl showroom, gave a taste of what’s to come for the attendees—from editors and publishers to designers and end-users. With my own design often becoming well-known for using live models for my public endeavors, I recently hosted a fashion presentation with Porsche Design clothing and accessories and had to give Poggenpohl credit for doing an equally amazing job.
An especially fab part of the night was the do-it-yourself cooking demonstration. The course taught attendees how to make the perfect chocolate-covered strawberries and was quite a success as people hovered over the treats after they were finished. A brief introduction and interview with Deborah Ludwig, the guest blogger that week, on surviving cancer rounded out what the guests are to expect in the coming months on her blog.
