DCOTA WinterMarket Buzz: Paige Rense Noland Leads 'Timeless Design: Past Present Future' Panel (Part 1 of 2)

The stage is set for two days packed with new ideas at Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA) on February 1 & 2, during the design center’s annual WinterMarket—and with a schedule this packed, we simply can't wait.

Architectural Digest Editor Emeritus Paige Rense Noland will lead a panel, Timeless Design: Past Present Future, featuring panelists Scott Snyder, Stephen Shadley, Geoffrey Bradfield, and Jennifer Post.

Noland will also highlight her most recent endeavors, which include several books: Autobiography of a Magazine, about her experience at AD; Kenneth Noland, about the career of her husband; and Home at Last, about large animal sanctuaries in the United States. The art director for these books was George Moscahlades, formerly with Architectural Digest, and all contain photographs by world-renowned photographer Harry Benson. Also on tap are two children's books, one to be published this year and a second in progress.

Designer Allan Palecek will give an afternoon keynote on how a company’s commitment to “going green” must become a process, not just a destination. He espouses that in order to achieve both style and sustainability, all parts of a company must reflect that commitment. This exciting keynote will be followed by a reception at the Judith Norman Collection.

Stay tuned to GoDesignGo for more DCOTA WinterMarket Buzz to learn who the recipients of the Stars of Design Awards are and what to check out on the second day of Market.
