Specialists of Design: Cory Pernicano's Green Approach at PDC (Part 1 of 2)

Last week, we introduced you to the DDB's Design Professional Kate Bergeron. Our next Design Professional that we would like you to meet is is Cory Pernicano from the Pacific Design Center.

Cory has created some of the most exciting interiors in Los Angeles and abroad including Palm Springs, San Diego, New York and London. Stepping into his role at the PDC as Director of Design Services in Winter 2011, Cory brings with him 13 years of experience as a versatile designer.

Cory cultivated his natural design talents working as an interior designer in London. Widening the breadth of his experience, he has also worked as a consultant for Cisco Home, the internationally recognized manufacturer of "green" home furniture. His unique eye earned him the honor of being the only "green" designer in the Hollywood Lifestyle Magazine Showcase 2007 at the PDC.

Through his Los Angeles-based company, Cory Pernicano Design, Cory has been able to develop his brand based on a philosophy that respects both artistry and quality materials. It's also allowed him the ability to incorporate a "green” approach of “waste not, want not" which he is known to live by. The results are interiors that are infused with warmth, beauty, a cool outlook and vibrant character.  Cory’s work includes a broad spectrum of styles. He works closely with his clients to develop spaces that integrate their lifestyles as well as their vision of their ultimate home.

Walking into a room designed by Cory instantly transports you to a beautifully unique space that Hollywood Lifestyle Magazine once described as "selfless."
