Fall Market Buzz: PDC Event Highlights (Part 2)

Yesterday, we shared with you some highlights for the PDC's Fall Market morning schedule. Now we're giving you the scoop on a few things you shouldn't miss in the afternoon.

Donghia (Suite G196) will present its exclusive Fall 2011 textiles, featuring Donghia, Armani/Casa Exclusive Textiles by Rubelli and Sahco from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Join Carolyn Reed, Donghia Vice President of Residential Sales, as she showcases the best of international design. Lee Jofa (Suite B639) will debut the Lilly Pulitzer Home Fabric line from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Jane Schoenborn, Fashion Director at Lilly Pulitzer, will share the brand’s history, what Lilly Pulitzer is all about, the inspiration behind iconic fashion brand’s fabulous prints and (most importantly!) the brand’s crossover from fashion to home.

Patterson, Flynn & Martin, (Suite B489) will host Traditional Now: Evolving Definitions of Traditional Design from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Join the showroom along with acclaimed interior designer and author of Traditional Now, David Kleinberg and Los Angeles Times magazine critic Mayer Rus for a conversation on the evolving definition of traditional design as seen in interiors from Park Avenue and The Hamptons, to Palm Beach and Los Angeles.

David Kleinberg, a 30-year design veteran with over 15 years of experience at the venerable Parish-Hadley, and Mayer Rus, style devotee, will discuss how this changing landscape inspires design today including the development of Kleinberg’s newest collection of traditional yet transitional rugs for Patterson, Flynn & Martin. Following the discussion, enjoy a book signing, line showing and champagne reception in the showroom.
