If you haven’t done so yet, make your way to Romo's showroom at the DDB to see the Spring/Summer couture line Mark Alexander.
Sales Associate Judith Looyestein accompanied us as we browsed, and showed us some of her favorites in the collection.

"I love the Java Amethyst fabric that was inspired by Alex's travels many years ago. He spotted a man wearing several coats in the heart of a village in Afghanistan, and one had a similar design to its inner lining, which Alex really loved. He bought the coat from the man and still uses the lining for inspiration to this day!"

She also adores the Zulu Moonrock and the Arc Willow patterns. They have both received a fabulous response so far, she told us.
The new couture line consists of seven collections of uniquely modern prints, which meld the design boundaries of tradition, freshness and originality. Simplified adaptations of classic embroideries sit alongside relaxed woven stripes in subtle, natural shades—signature to the Mark Alexander palette—while wool, velvet and silk are also in the line's variety.
