After celebrating the Stars of Design Awards in South Florida and Los Angeles, Charles S. Cohen, President and owner of the Cohen Design Centers, will present the annual awards to a group of Houston-based designers on April 27 at the Decorative Center Houston. The event will be part of DCH’s annual Spring Market, which is chock-full of great events this year.
The Stars of Design Awards commemorate the significant achievements and contributions by individuals in various fields of design including interior design, architecture, art, photography, graphic design, landscape design, and special recognition for lifetime achievement. They are selected by a jury of past award recipients.
This year’s recipients include P. Joe Shaffer; John Casbarian & Danny Samuels, Taft Architects; Aaron Parazette; Paula Savage Hansen, Savage, Inc.; Melissa Borrell, Melissa Borrell Design and Keiji Asakura, Asakura Robinson Company.
