DCH Spring Market Event Highlights

Now that WESTWEEK is passed, are you craving more market events? Us too. Not to worry, the Decorative Center Houston (DCH) will be holding its annual Spring Market April 28 with plenty of showroom events and open houses.

The events include a Veranda magazine keynote discussion; a special exhibition of Greg Gorman's A Distinct Vision and In Their Youth; and a Stars of Design Awards Ceremony.

We’ve hand-selected a few showroom events we think you shouldn’t miss—and best of all, they’re all before lunchtime!

Brown Jordan (Suite 1016) is hosting a Breakfast with Designers from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. to unveil its new trade-only collections by Richard Frinier and Mathias Hoffmann. Bring your indoor and outdoor plans, pictures and questions, and enjoy spending time with showroom manager Steve West as you get your Spring projects off to a springing start.

Robert Allen | Beacon Hill (Suite 141) celebrates Sunbrella’s 50-year anniversary over a continental breakfast from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Sunbrella fabric expert Paige Mullis will share the history and technology behind the iconic brand and present the new Robert Allen Sunbrella collection, Al Fresco Oceana. RSVP by April 22 to houstonevents@robertallendesign.com or call 713-439-0200.

Goravanchi Co. (Suite 2019) and Decorative Rugs are taking you overseas from 12:00 - 12:45 p.m. Enjoy Persian cuisine and Italian wine while exploring the beautiful collection of rugs in an array of colors and patterns.

But if you prefer American grub, the Cabinet Innovations showroom (Suite 219) welcomes you with a great big "howdy partner." If you've been missing the rodeo and prefer to skip Spring and spur straight to Summer, you'll enjoy Cabinet Innovations' Western BBQ inspired lunch. You'll also get to preview their display of stainless steel cabinetry for outdoor kitchens. Yee-Haw!
