Knoll Luxe Fine Textiles, a new showroom to the D & D Building, has a rich history in American fabric design. As their first residential showroom, they offer design classics as well as innovative new designs. Creative Director Dorothy Cosonas has asked young American fashion talent to collaborate on collections, and the results are the chic Prouenza Schouler and Rodarte lines. Florence Knoll Bassett founded KnollTextiles in 1947 with a forward thinking perpective, she made commercial fabrics of interesting weaves and colors, the way residential fabrics had been done. Cosonas, in keeping with this legendary history, takes the company from strength to strength.
