While the grace and scale of this opulent design are certainly within the familiar bounds of traditional botanical patterns, the fabulous embroidery that depicts this vining motif clearly sets Eden apart. Varying the direction of the stitches multiplies the two embroidery colors into a subtle and shifting range of tones that gleam against a burnished silk ground.
