Meet Fawn Galli

We want to introduce you to Fawn Galli, a member of the DDB's Designer Referral program. Here's a look at one of her recent projects, an apartment in NYC that you might recognize from a recent issue of House Beautiful.

What is inspiring you now?
The fantasy mushroom fabric by Missoni at Stark (MZ 0170RQ29), hot pink damasks from Osborne and Little, Cole and Son's wallpaper from Lee Jofa.



What are your favorite showrooms at the DDB?
I adore Christopher Hyland and Old World Weavers for luxuries silk mohair, Holland & Sherry for their C&C line of Italian linens, Rogers & Goffigon for subtle chic fabrics and de Gournay wallpapers (pictured below)!







What are you working on now?
Townhouses in NYC and country homes in Cornwall, Connecticut and Amagansett, NY.



What is your design philosophy?
Decorating should be fun with many layered vignettes but it should also tell a consistent story.



What are some of your favorite summer accessories? Solar powered outdoor hot pink lanterns, outdoor umbrellas from Walters Wicker, outdoor fabrics from Quadrille.

A peak inside the bloggers' goodie bags

As a BIG thank you to the participants of last week's DDB Spring Market, the 20 bloggers went home with some very nice treats, most of which were one-off, specially created batches. GDG Gift Guide: Moyna Clutches by Quadrille

Continuing with our GDG Gift Guide, we've got another idea for the holiday season that's just right for you Quadrille lovers.

Teaming up with handbag designer Moyna Singh, Quadrille created a line of beaded clutches in various colors of the pattern, Maze. A clever zipper down the middle allows the piece to double as a wallet for daytime use.

"The Moyna clutches are custom and brand new at the showroom," Sales and Marketing Representative Frankie Aguilar told us. "They're perfect gifts for the holidays and Quadrille is very happy to have collaborated with Moyna.”

Moyna handbags and fashions accessories are individually hand-beaded and embroidered by artisans in India, using traditional beading techniques. The glass beads have been selected to complement the fabric and design of the pieces.

On the Same Wavelength

Orange on Oyster, Grass Green Leaf and Blue on Oyster are three colorways in Quadrille's new linen Wavelength collection by Alan Campbell.

We caught up with Paul Romano, Quadrille Vice President, and Frankie Aguilar, Sales and Marketing Manager, who explained that Alan Campbell's Collections always do extremely well.

“They've really been extremely popular since they've been out. His collections are always fun and the colors are vibrant and fresh," Frankie said.
