PDC April 11 lecture: "History of Painted Ornament in Design"

On Wednesday, April 11th, join muralist and art historian Steve Shriver at the PDC as he discusses classical painted European ornament and where it can be found around Los Angeles. He will focus on the work of Anthony Heinsbergen Sr. who painted many local landmarks including City Hall. Shriver will showcase some of the work he's done over the past decade on Heinsbergen's Pacific Palisades home. Shriver is based in Rancho Palos Verdes, where he works out of a studio in a home designed by Gordon Kauffman.
