The Chinese New Year is almost upon us, and in the year of the dragon, the DCOTA's Decorative Crafts showroom is gearing up to celebrate. See below for the Decorative Crafts’ daytime events to welcome the Chinese New Year with festive style.
The Decorative Crafts showroom, Suite B-218, opens its doors at 1 p.m. with feng shui expert Michelle Luongo, who will explore the ancient traditions and customs of the Chinese New Year and how to benefit from the shifting energies of 2012.
In addition to her feng shui consulting business, Balanced Living Inc., Michelle is the director of the East Coast Academy of Feng Shui, which offers continuing education courses to architects and interior designers.
After the party, Michelle will discuss the way feng shui affects our lives in her lecture Feng Shui for the Year of the Yang Water Dragon. She will address the energies in our environment as we enter the new year. Learn how to maximize your design elements and explore the Asian customs and traditions of this most revered event.
