The legendary decorative painting and faux finishing school Isabel O’Neil Studio Workshop is holding an exhibition at the Decorative Center Houston through January 2, 2012.
As the grande dame of American painted finishes, Isabel O'Neil revitalized the decorative arts in this country. Creating new methods of achieving faux finishes; Isabel's goal was to simulate exotic materials such as marble, shagreen, lapis lazuli, tiger's eye, obsidian and malachite.
