Event Spotlight: George Herms' 'Xenophilia (Love of the Unknown)'

In conjunction with George Herms: 'Xenophilia (Love of the Unknown)', The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (MOCA), presents Xenophilia Follies, a one-night-only performance of music and theater organized by the artist.

The evening will include music by Mark Turnbull and Bonnie Murray Tamblyn, with special performances by Amber Tamblyn and Russ Tamblyn. In celebration of the exhibition, Herms will improvise a salute to the participating artists.

The galleries at MOCA Pacific Design Center will be open for guests to view George Herms: Xenophilia (Love of the Unknown), as well as Miranda July’s Eleven Heavy Things, a series of 11 sculptures in the Melrose Wave Park.

The event takes place Saturday, August 27 at 7:30 p.m. at the MOCA Pacific Design Center Plaza. For more information visit the MOCA online.
