WESTWEEK Buzz: Bravo's ‘Million Dollar Decorators’ Dish (cont.)

When asked what one of the more difficult parts of the experience was, Mary answered, "The stress of our projects was relentless. There was lots and lots and lots of stuff that we were all juggling in the air, making sure that none of it would fall, but I'd do it all over again in an instant. I think the show will really show people what it takes to do such long projects and in such big, high-budget ways.”

Kathryn agreed: "A real room takes quite a long time to complete. You need a LOT of wine and a few good people around you. And you might also need a bit of sex. No, you need a lot of it!"

Marisa asked the panel how it has felt to return to work after the taping. Martyn was the first to admit that while he loved doing to the show, he's grateful it’s over. "You never really forget the cameras are around you and it's hard to feel like you're always doing the best work you possibly can be when, for at least part of the time, you're annoyed by these cameras in your face. It's really been wonderful to have the experience and return to my studio and my work now with peace and quiet."

"It's very true," said Mary. "We've had the time of our lives but we had our fun and it's back to the fulltime work, where no one else is having as stressful of a day as you in the very same room. That was so killer!"

Stayed tuned to GoDesignGo later today as we follow the Million Dollar Decorators to Bravo's wild reception at the Andrew Martin showroom.
