Long Live The King

Baker Furniture launches a new line  this spring, The Andre Arbus Collection.  The legendary French cabinet maker understood a particular design vernacular, as he is celebrated today for the modernity he captured in his pieces. French 1940's antique furniture is highly collectible, and Baker's re issue's will be scooped up by those that admire the craftsmanship, scale Arbus's appreciation of classicism. His Du Roi Chaise, pictured here, exemplifies his metalwork and the pared-down lines.
