A Look Inside: DCOTA's Designhouse Cigar and Wine Room

Joseph C. Fava of  Fava Design Group, LLC created the  Cigar Room + Wine Room in Designhouse.

“We transformed the Wine Room from a dark, cluttered closet into a funky " South Beach" style Wine Room. Departing from a traditional wine room with a color scheme of dark merlots and greens, we opted for a bright color palette with stainless steel and glass accents.

For the cigar room, we wanted to create a masculine, chic space reminiscent of a New York loft. Inspired by the metallic trend, we custom designed our wall treatments and continued with a circular motif paired with a sleek and sophisticated edge.”

Design Philosophy

“As a designer, the measure of my success is delivering a finished product that not only exceeds my client's expectation and vision but truly reflectstheir individuality. Even if a client sees a room that I have done and wants to emulate that in their own home, the end result will be one that reflects their tastes while refined by my expertise and experience.”
