Lutron has made Roman shades safe for tots by introducing CERUS (Cord-EliminatingRoman Uptake System) safety technology.
The innovative design creates safer Roman shades by utilizing uptake bands in place of exposed inner cords. Exposed cords may pose a strangulation hazard to small children. The new system also improves performance by allowing for quieter, smoother and more even travel of the shade.
Customer's Own Material (COM) is available for hobbled, knife, casual and flat shades, so the options are endless.
