Cohencierge for Quintessentially: Luxury Lifestyle at its Finest (Part 2)

If yesterday's article on Cohencierge, powered by Quintessentially, has left you impressed, we've got more on the service that has sent us running for a membership ourselves. Courtney Brene Corbin, the friendly face you'll see in the DDB's lobby at the Cohencierge desk, has shared the inside scoop on what the real benefits to using Cohencierge are and what some of the most astounding, and delivered, requests have been. We now truly believe that no request is too ordinary or extraordinary!

"There are a whole host of benefits to using Cohencierge," said Courtney. "What I'm able to do for my clients is nothing short of impressive on a daily basis—it's fun to be able to grant everyone's wishes!"

First and foremost, Courtney is able to save her members time, hassle and money while she sorts out everything from travel arrangements to business meetings to a special dinner with your family on your next vacation.

"In addition to taking care of any lifestyle management needs our members may need, we have member events which allow our members another opportunity for exposure," Courtney said. "Not only are they able to meet people in the same field as them but they can meet people from around the world in different fields as well. This allows enormous networking benefits and can lead to lasting relationships and business partnerships."

With Qintessentially named the Best Concierge by Vanity Fair, New York Magazine, and Conde Nast Traveler, Cohencierge powered by Quintessentially will give members access to the best products, services, and events worldwide, with the most up-to-date, insider information anywhere.

Here are a few unique examples and amazing requests of what Cohencierge can do for you: "renting out" the Egyptian Pyramids for a private party for 300; finding four penguins, a pair of llamas and a pair of doves for an embassy party; having a Scottish kilt flown halfway around the world; 'rescuing' a Cohencierge member from his snow-covered chalet in the mountains; organizing sailing instruction by an Olympic medalist for a member who wished to get his sailing license; covering an entire tennis court with flowers for a surprise party; arranging for a member to have personal training with coach Luiz Felipe Scolari during Euro 2008.

New Faces: Cohencierge's Courtney Brene Corbin at the DDB (Part 3)

We're getting to know Cohencierge's Courtney Brene Corbin pretty well these days—and today she tells us about her own design style and what dance and fashion-filled experiences landed her in the DDB's lobby ready to help you. Here's what we learned from our afternoon with Courtney.

GDG: What is your personal design style?

CBC: My apartment is pretty contemporary with the exception of the pieces I have picked up while traveling. One of my favorite pieces in my home is a gorgeous tapestry I purchased in Paris from a woman that has a small import/export business between Paris and India. Another is a lovely hand carved sculpture I picked up in South Africa from two Zambian artists. I really enjoy homes that have rich accents representing different cultures.

GDG: What is your ideal personal interior style if you had no limitations?

CBC: Chic Chic Chic! My favorite designer is Chanel and my favorite time period for fashion is the 1920s. I just adored when women dressed like women and everything was so classy and tailored like a gem!

GDG: What is your favorite room to decorate?

CBC: My living room; I love decorating it and just being in it. I live near Lincoln Center and have nice open windows giving my apartment a warm, yet open feel. There are endless design possibilities for me to design and redesign around in my living room!

GDG: Do you have any fun facts about yourself to share?

CBC: I played the character "Uniqua" in the hit children's show The Backyardigans for the original pilot. I was unable to continue on as the character because I decided to take a position with the dance company in college.

In college, I modeled for Harpers Bazaar Japan and did a couple of fun dance/modeling collaborations for Issey Miyake in Tribeca. I've also done a lot of photo shoots for magazines, a commercial for Target, speaking on taxi tv for Alvin Ailey, and met and was able to wear a gorgeous Badgley Mischka dress for our Alvin Ailey Gala!

Tomorrow we'll learn about the Cohencierge service and Courtney will share some impressive and wild client requests that Cohencierge has had no trouble working around. You can contact Courtney by calling 646-556-7060 or emailing her at Courtney.corbin@quintessentially.com to set up your Cohencierge powered by Quintessentially membership.

New Faces: Cohencierge's Courtney Brene Corbin at the DDB (Part 2 of 3)

Now that we have introduced Cohencierge's Courtney Brene Corbin, one of the newest faces at the DDB, we're sharing tidbits of Courtney's interest in interior design as well has hobbies now that she has left professional dancing.

GDG: How long have you been with Cohencierge for Quintessentially?

CBC: I've been with Cohencierge since August, but I've been with Quintessentially for just under a year.

GDG: What are your thoughts on the DDB and its showrooms?

CBC: The first time I walked into the D&D Building I was really quite impressed. I love reading Elle Décor so my appetite was certainly fed by being here. The amount of showrooms on different floors was beautiful—it's like a luxury shopping mall and a designer’s dreamland combined!

GDG: Do you still dance even though your career path has changed?

CBC: When the curtain went down on June 14th, 2009, that was my "official" last day of a professional dance career. I performed in one small benefit last year, but other than that, I have not taken any dance classes or participated in any other dance performances. I exercise quite often to take care of and maintain my body. I take yoga and Pilates to keep my mind and body together, which has definitely replaced the absence of dance in my life.

GDG: You mentioned being an avid Elle Décor reader. Are you a savvy interior designer?

CBC: I don't know if I would go that far! When I was touring with my dance company, two of my favorite magazines for long travel days were Elle Decor and Dwell. These days, when I have free time I love to spend hours on the Internet looking at real estate and also searching for  real estate deals around the world. I plan exotic trips for myself; whether I am going for sure or it’s just a dream or plan for later!

Check back tomorrow for more on Courtney's personal interior design style and what her favorite room to decorate—and redecorate—is. In the meantime, contact Courtney by calling 646-556-7060 or e-mailing her at Courtney.corbin@quintessentially.com to set up your Cohencierge powered by Quintessentially membership.
