Academy of Art University (AAU) recently bestowed its first Design Icon Award to noted furniture designer Dakota Jackson. The award was presented to Jackson by AAU president Dr. Elisa Stephens at a special reception at the school.
The following day, Jackson delivered a lecture to students attending AAU’s School of Interior Architecture and Design and talked about his design philosophy and process as well as thoughts on his work.
