The Atelier Lapchi showroom was in full throttle during WESTWEEK, featuring the introduction of new Showroom Director, Edmundo Luna-Ortiz, and a portfolio review with the editors of interiors magazine.
interiors Editorial Director Michael Wollaeger and Editor-in-Chief Arianne Nardo offered one-on-one consultations for portfolio-toting attendees.
"It was a really personal portfolio review of my design work," said a designer who had just finished showing Michael her portfolio. "I learned more about what editors are really looking for today and how to present my work in the best light. Knowing what kind of mistakes to avoid and how to increase my odds of getting published in the design magazines I love most is such priceless information!"
Edmundo brings over 30 years of experience in floor coverings, including 16 years with Floordesign in San Francisco. He looks forward to his role at Atelier Lapchi where he plans to serve his trade clients with expertise and a friendly approach. Edmundo invites designers to "Please stop in and say hello!" so make sure you do!
