Gregorious Pineo
Thomas Chippendale endures as one of the most influential of all European furniture makers (and the first non-royal to have an entire style of furniture named after him), continuing to make a distinct impact on contemporary design even after almost 3 centuries. These days, Chinese Chippendale, a sometimes whimsical Asian inspired subset of his work, seems to be everywhere — though seldom is it pulled off as beautifully as in this wing chair by Gregorious Pineo. The piece features the distinctive lattice-work and temple elements of the style, though minimized and modernized just slightly enough to easily blend with the modern home.
