Splatter Paint: Is it Making a Comeback?

Spatter, designed by Harry Hinson in 1974, was inspired by the spatter motif often used in Colonial ceramic ware and wall decoration. Used amongst ardent Spatter fans Albert Hadley, Jeffrey Bilhuber and Billy Baldwin, it was  featured in Bloomingdale’s Big Window Challenge competition in a room designed by Eddie Ross for Elle Décor. In addition to navy, Spatter wallpaper is available in brown and green along with coordinated fabrics.
