The sixth annual Stars of Design Awards were held last week at the DDB, honoring seventeen of the best designers across many different disciplines as well as the "Stars on the Rise" in the interior design industry.



The black-tie dinner capped off the first day of the DDB's Fall Market. Charles S. Cohen, President and owner of DDB, hosted one hundred of the design industry’s elite to celebrate the 2012 honorees.



This year's winners include: Richard Meier for Lifetime Achievement, Dror Benshetrit for Industrial Design, Stefan Sagmeister for Graphic Design, Laura Starr, Stephen Whitehouse and Jeffrey Poor for Landscape Architecture, Durston Saylor for Architectural Photography, Allan Greenberg for Architecture, Juan Moyata for Interior Design, Peter Halley for Art, Jayne Michaels, Joan Michaels, Brad Ford, Jessie Carrier, Mara Miller, Rafael De Cardenas and Kelly Behun for Stars on the Rise in Interior Design.
